She was the only victim killed within the City of London, though close to the boundary of Whitechapel.

Catherine Eddowes in "Gentlemen of the Shade"[]

Catherine Eddowes was the victim of a vampire named Jack. A group of vampires named the Sanguine Club pursued Jack for most of the autumn of 1888, fearing that his crimes would reveal to the world the existence of vampires. They came very close catching Jack after the Eddowes murder, but missed him by a few minutes.
