Only "Hang Together" has been significantly cataloged, and much of that by me in the past two weeks. Have any of us read any of HT's other War World stories?JonathanMarkoff (talk) 20:29, January 18, 2018 (UTC)
- I have read both novels and the other four short stories. I only own the collection with "Hang Together" so that's why I had done work on that. The other four I read in a Public Library SF Reference Branch (the Judith Merril Collection) which is non-lending so hard to work with. I do have the two novels but never did anything with them because its impossible to distinguish Turtledove's work from the other three co-authors. It might be best to just treat them as all Turtledove's work for the purposes of this wiki but other items always seemed higher up the list.
- Incidentally, two of the short stories were worked into the novels which cover a 20-30 year period that also includes the time frame of "Tribute Maidens" so they should all be grouped together for "Minor Characters". The other short story, "Those Who Lose", takes place shortly after the Sauron invasion so would be 500 years after "Hang Together" and 300 before the novels. ML4E (talk) 20:54, January 18, 2018 (UTC)
