Is it redundant to have these listed in the parent cat "Novels" too? ML4E (talk) 18:56, July 26, 2012 (UTC)
- I'm inclined to think so, unless we drop the various anthologies in to the Stand-alone category (which I can't see a reason to do). TR (talk) 20:16, July 26, 2012 (UTC)
I agree. They are already categorized as "Collections" so that would be unnecessary. I'll take care of the redundancies. ML4E (talk) 20:10, July 27, 2012 (UTC)
I decided to add the so called "fix-up" novels to the cat too but also keep them in the "Collections" cat as well. ML4E (talk) 20:53, July 27, 2012 (UTC)
did you note books with no sequels? Oilledudley
- I did but it seems unnecessary since they are already categorized in "Collections". True, you can have collections of short stories that are related and if they are in multiple volumes then they are not "Stand-alone" but I can't think of an example that applies to Turtledove, except perhaps the two "Atlantis" short stories in one collection. It doesn't seem to me to add anything to double cat them. ML4E (talk) 16:22, July 28, 2012 (UTC)
