I'm starting to think this category needs renaming. "Statesmen," "Government officials," "Members of the political system." Politicians doesn't really fit. You've got the usual definition of politicians, and apparatchiks, and monarchs of every stripe from absolutists to figureheads, and tyrants, and bureacrats, and clergymen, and debutantes. . . .
