In HFR, it is confirmed that Orion Clemens is named for Sam's older brother. Orion Sr. was Secretary of Nevada Territory at the POD, and is alive (as far as we know) during HFR, so this might be worth a line in References to Historical Figures in Turtledove's Work.Matthew Babe Stevenson (talk) 20:22, May 13, 2019 (UTC)
