Talk: 1940s Deaths (OTL)

Trying to decide if breaking this and Category:1940s Deaths (Fictional Work) should be broken down by year. Both are incredibly full categories. However, to the best of my knowledge, these are the only two categories that could really benefit from such a split. TR (talk) 23:21, November 28, 2019 (UTC)

I'd rather leave it and avoid creating a precedent for over-specification (which MBS pr someone like him would gleefully abuse), but I'm not super-wedded to that idea. Turtle Fan (talk) 08:46, November 29, 2019 (UTC)

The other issue would be difficulty of use. A user would probably have a good idea of a particular decade a character or person died but clicking ten sub-cats because they don't recall the year would be tedious. ML4E (talk) 19:34, November 29, 2019 (UTC)
