Victims of Vigilantism

These characters were killed by acts of vigilante justice. They may have had the dubious benefit of a drumhead trial prior to their executions, or they may have simply been summarily killed by an angry mob. They might also have been killed as an act of vengeance following a crime for which the criminal justice system had failed to punish them adequately (to the satisfaction of surviving victims or the next of kin of deceased ones).
