This category lists people who had claims of varying legitimacy to the throne of the Kingdom of France. For example, every monarch of England and later Great Britain from Henry VI to George III laid claim to the French throne until George III renounced the claim. Certain members of the Spanish royal family, including King Alfonso XIII, were regarded as the true heirs of the French House of Bourbon by the Legitimist faction.
