Heads of State of Portugal

This is a catch-all category for the various Heads of State of Portugal that appear in Harry Turtledove's fiction. In OTL, the Kingdom of Portugal was established by Afonso Henriques in 1139. Portugal was ruled by kings and queens for over seven centuries until 1910, when King Manuel II was deposed by a military coup. Since then, Portugal has had a succession of republican governments. Some Turtledove works involving Portugal are set in timelines where the monarchy was either restored sometime after 1910 or never overthrown to begin with.
