This category contains members of nobility in various countries - both in our world and in fantasy worlds - who held the rank of Grand Duke or Grand Duchess. Some, but not all, of these dukes were monarchs: several held (or, in Geoffrey of Detina's case, illegally claimed) kingly or imperial titles in addition to their ducal ones, while in other cases, the ducal title was monarchical in its own right.
