In 1934, Nazi Party leader Adolf Hitler combined the office of head of government with the head of state, creating the office of Führer and Reichschancellor, a union which ended at his suicide in 1945, along with the title of Führer generally.
Two Turtledove timelines name Hitler's successors in the office of Führer. In the Worldwar Franchise, they continue using the dual title, so those characters appear both here and in the Führers of the Greater German Reich Category. By contrast, In the Presence of Mine Enemies identifies Hitler's successors as Führer only, with no mention of Chancellors, so those characters are not included here.
