Before World War II, Fall Grün (Case Green) was a German plan for an aggressive war against Czechoslovakia. The first draft of the plan was made in late 1937, with new versions coming as the military situation and requirements changed. The final version scheduled the attack to 28 September 1938, but after the Munich Conference, the plan was completely abandoned.
Case Green in The War That Came Early[]
Upon the announcement that Konrad Henlein had been assassinated by Jaroslav Stribny on 29 September 1938, Adolf Hitler demanded the immediate initiation of Case Green. Within days, Germany had invaded Czechoslovakia, touching off a continental war.
