Broumidis was a colonel in the Yaninan dragon corps during the Derlavaian War. He took part in the campaign against Lagoas in the Land of the Ice People, where the kingdoms fought for control of the cinnabar mines on the austral continent. The Algarvian dragonflier Sabrino found Broumidis to be a good friend and a courageous, reliable ally. Sabrino noted that Broumidis' mettle was in marked contrast to his kingdom's lackluster fighting spirit and reputation for cowardice as a whole.
Broumidis went down in flames during a dragon-fight against the Lagoans.
