Bredestown is a town in the Atlantean state of New Hastings. It was established by Richard Radcliffe and his family some six years after the establishment of New Hastings along a stream called the Brede.
In 1470, when the Earl of Warwick established a harsh tyranny in New Hastings, the people of Bredestown began making weapons. Warwick's men didn't pay as much to attention to the town, which proved a fatal mistake.
During the Atlantean War of Independence, Bredestown was the site of a battle between British forces and the Army of the Atlantean Assembly. Atlantean General Victor Radcliff had not wanted to give battle there, and ultimately fought a delaying action to allow his troops to retreat.
