The Artist was the female deity who made the world where the elves lived. The elves gave her this title because of the extreme beauty of her works. The Door which led to the world of humans was considered to be the Artist's greatest gift. Elves often wondered what Artist had created the other world. Some believed that the human world had not had an Artist, but instead had come together all on its own.
