The Armored Bear was the official newspaper of the Confederate States Army during the Second Great War. As such, it was a propaganda tool for the Featherston Administration. In 1944, even as the Confederate war effort was collapsing and the U.S. Army was advancing in Georgia and Alabama, the Armored Bear was publishing articles that insisted the C.S. would rally and push the U.S. out of Kentucky and Tennessee.[1]
