Arabian Peninsula

The Arabian Peninsula (/əˈreɪbiən ... /; Arabic: شِبْهُ الْجَزِيرَةِ الْعَرَبِيَّة‎, shibhu l-jazīrati l-ʿarabiyyah, "Arabian Peninsula" or جَزِيرَةُ الْعَرَب, jazīratu l-ʿarab, "Island of the Arabs") is a peninsula of Western Asia, situated northeast of Africa on the Arabian Plate. At 3,237,500 km (1,250,000 sq mi), the Arabian Peninsula is the largest peninsula in the world.

Geographically, the Arabian Peninsula includes Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Yemen, as well as the southern portions of Iraq and Jordan. The biggest of these is Saudi Arabia. The Peninsula, plus Bahrain, the Socotra Archipelago, and other nearby islands form a geopolitical region called Arabia.

The Arabian Peninsula formed as a result of the rifting of the Red Sea between 56 and 23 million years ago, and is bordered by the Red Sea to the west and southwest, the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman to the northeast, the Levant and Mesopotamia to the north and the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean to the southeast. The peninsula plays a critical geopolitical role in the Arab world and globally due to its vast reserves of oil and natural gas.

Arabian Peninsula in "The Fake Pandemic"[]

On the advice of Martinus Paduei, Roman Emperor Justinian decided to drive on the Arabian Peninsula and take Mecca to prevent the eventual rise of Muhammad. When his quaestor Tribonian asked Justinian why he was following Padeui's recommendation, Justinian told Tribonian that it was better to be safe than sorry.[1]

When he visited Florence to meet with Paduei in 538, Tribonian confirmed that Justinian was following Paduei's advice.[2] Later, when Paduei warned Tribonian of the coming plague, he took care to confirm that Justinian was sending troops on ships to the Red Sea. He explained that their presence could also help stem the plague.[3]

Arabian Peninsula in "King of All"[]

The Arabian Peninsula was one of the world's main caffeine-growing regions, along with Ethiopia and Colombia.

Arabian Peninsula in "Occupation Duty"[]

The nomadic tribes of Arabia were allied with the Turks of Babylonia against the Philistinians. Although the Arabs were polytheists with their Four gods (Aluzza, Allat, Manah and Hubal) in contrast to the Turks' Sword Buddha, their hostility to the Philistinians took precedence.[4]

Arabian Peninsula in Worldwar[]

The Arabian Peninsula had been a major supplier of oil during World War II.

When the Race landed on Earth at the start of June 1942, the whole peninsula avoided the full military might of the Race, thanks in part to the British keeping the Race at bay in both the Middle East and Western India. They continued to supply oil until the British were defeated and driven out of the region, allowing the whole area to fall to the Race. At the Peace of Cairo later that year, it was recognized as Race Territory, despite the fact that various Not-empires, the United Kingdom in particular, had maintained colonial possessions on the Peninsula before the outbreak of World War II.

When the Colonization Fleet arrived in 1962, the region was heavily colonised by the Race, in spite of the fanatical resistance on the peninsula. A few years later, during the Race-German War of 1965, these cities were heavily and repeatedly bombed by Germany's nuclear submarine fleet in the Mediterranean and the Indian Ocean.

It remained a center of resistance against the Race throughout the century.
