Allan Cooper (d. July 1610) was a veteran soldier (having fought in the Anglo-Spanish War in Holland) and guard of the Jamestown colony. He joined Edward Wingfield's expedition to rescue Wingfield's infant daughter, Joanna, who was kidnapped by sims. Although the rescue was successful, one of their group, Henry Dale, decided to attack the sims. Cooper was killed when a rock thrown by a sim crushed his skull.
Cooper left behind a widow, Claire, and an infant son, Cecil.
