Aiaia was an island on Lokris' Tiberian coast. It was said that Laertes' son visited the island during his wanderings.[1]
Literary comment[]
Aiaia is based on Aeaea, the home of Circe in Homer's Odyssey. Aeaea is usually considered to be on Italy's Tyrrhenian coast, rather than its Adriatic one.
