Adolf Drucker (b. 1952) was the son of Johannes and Käthe Drucker. He was the younger brother of Heinrich and Claudia. As the son of a high-ranking officer in Germany's Reich Rocket Force, Adolf enjoyed many advantages in his youth. Although his mother was briefly imprisoned in 1962 on suspicion of having Jewish blood, Adolf and his siblings were one generation removed from the taint, and thus not in jeopardy under the race laws of the Reich.
Adolf was fond of playing with toy tanks during his childhood.
During the Race-German War of 1965, Johannes was captured by the Race. Adolf evacuated from Greifswald to Neu Strelitz with the rest of the family. Heinrich was recruited into the Volkssturm, but Adolf was too young even for that. After their father made his way back to the family, they settled at his new posting in Flensburg.
Literary comment[]
In Homeward Bound, it is stated that one of Johannes' sons ranked highly in the German military at the turn of the 21st century. The text neglects to make clear whether this refers to Adolf or Heinrich.
