Aberdeen is Scotland's third most populous city, one of Scotland's 32 local government council areas and the United Kingdom's 29th most populous city, with an official population estimate of 220,420.

Aberdeen in The Hot War[]

Aberdeen was one of two British cities destroyed by Soviet atomic bombs on 1 February 1951 in retaliation for American nuclear attacks on Manchurian cities.[1]

Aberdeen in The War That Came Early[]

When Sgt. Alistair Walsh's company was pulled from France in 1939, and sent to Trondheim in Norway, they were transshipped via Aberdeen. The company had arrived in southern England on a troopship and then sent by rail to Aberdeen and then another troopship to Trondheim.[2]
