Took the freedom to add it:
In the German AH/SF novel ''Die Zeitmaschine Karls des Großen'' ("The Time Machine of Charlemagne") by Oliver Henkel, the protagonist meets a rabbi named Josephus Columbanus (''columba'' - Latin for "dove").
Said rabbi wrote the novel ''Im Auftrage Konstantinopels'' ("On a Mission for Constantinople") in which he describes a world in which the Arab uprising of the followers of "Mahometus" was successful, as opposed to his timeline in which Arabia was conquered by the Eastern Roman Empire.
